Information Security Management

In an ever more rapidly digitized connect world Cyber- and information security threats, vulnerability, risks and solutions to protect our digital and non-digital assets need to be continuously modeled, measured, evaluated and managed. The Information Security Management Group performance both theoretical, empirical and applied research on the modeling measuring and managing of technical and procedural problems and solutions in the information security management area.

The group has a special responsibility for the information’s security management track of the MSc at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Gjøvik. Consequently it’s research based teaching methods bring together a broad spectrum of socio-technical systems security research results that cover the social, organizational, psychological, legal, ethical, cultural, political, rhetorical educational and technical aspect of cyber- and information security management.
